We have the pleasure to invite you to a very special Christmas concert with
Mezzotono – the Small Italian Orchestra Without Instruments!
After the concert, let’s gather together over a free glass of Prosecco and a slice of either Pandoro or Panettone – yes, the ultimate Christmas debate… – at the nearby Valletta Local Council Hall!
More than 60 countries and 5 continents have hosted Mezzotono’s music, making it the European vocal group with the highest number of countries visited around the world.
The repertoire is performed entirely A CAPPELLA: five voices that emulate the sound of the real instruments and, with a comical approach, encourage audience participation for some fun time together.
The aim is to present a variety of music styles through Italian and English songs ranging from jazz to pop, from bossa nova to mambo, tango, folklore, big band style and classic music – to prove that voices alone can do it all!
Mezzotono‘s performance is a mix of Italian culture, entertainment and quality music!

Mezzotono’s two performances were delightful and well received by the Penang Island Jazz Festival audience. […] Mezzotono has proved yet once again, music is a universal language and good music is always appreciated anywhere in the world! Mezzotono’s appearance at this year’s Penang Island Jazz Festival was indeed a wonderful experience for the audience and the festival was glad to have had them as part of its 9th edition’s programme – Penang Jazz Festival Director (Malaysia)
