One of the best known and loved bands of the Nu Folk’s Neapolitan panorama, Ars Nova Napoli offer a reinterpretation of traditional songs from southern Italy, as well as unpublished compositions.
By using their own taste beyond the conventions of styles, they are able to combine a plethora of Mediterranean melodies which they came in contact with.
Gigs are definitely the place where they can display their powerful stage presence and verve, they are venue-fifillers capable of entertaining and excititing all kinds of audience, of every age and from any country, as they offer a set mixing skilled harmonies and instrumental interplay and exuberant party groove.
Ars Nova are thus able to renew one of the main functions of traditional music, namely that of social gathering and aggregation.
