EUNIC | European Film Festival 2026

The European Film Festival returns to Valletta for its 6th edition, with ten contemporary films presented between September 15th and 20th at Spazju Kreattiv.

This year’s films explore family obligations, ethics, injustice, history and contemporary life.

The festival is brought to you by EUNIC Malta, the local cluster of the EU National Institutes for Culture that that brings together the cultural institutes and embassies of EU member states, together with Arts Council Malta and the European Commission Representation in Malta.

 

All films will be screened in their original language with English subtitles.

Admission is free but booking is required.

The Italian Cultural Institute presents Duse, directed by Pietro Marcello.
