The library of the Italian Cultural Institute of Valletta contains around 12,000 books (mostly in Italian) available for consultation or loan.
The OPENING HOURS of the library are the same as the Institute.
Some of the most popular sections are fiction, language learning, history, art and children’s literature. And although the library mainly focuses on Italian literature, our catalog also includes foreign authors and a range of books about Maltese culture.

NO EXTRA COSTS
All the books available for loan can be borrowed by all the members of the Institute (up to 3 at a time for a renewable period of 3 weeks) at no additional cost. The Institute may seek compensation for damages caused to the borrowed books.
