WITHIN THE SECOND EDITION OF THE SETTIMANA DELLA CUCINA ITALIANA NEL MONDO
Presentation of “A. Olivetti” Institute for hospitality studies.
The Olivetti is the only Institute specializing in hospitality studies in the region of Monza and Brianza. The students are offered five year courses which allow them to achieve a professional diploma in “Servizi per l’enogastronomia e dell’ospitalita’ alberghiera” and “Accoglienza turistica”.
The Institute is equipped with the latest technology and all lecturers have experience in the hospitality industry. From the very beginning of the course students put into practice what they learn. In recent years, the Institute introduced international courses to enable students to integrate themselves within a global context. One of the most important initiatives of the Institute is the Ristorante Didattico Olivettando (Per info su Olivettando: https://www.facebook.com/OlivettandoRistoranteDidattico/)
On the occasion of the Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo, the A. Olivetti Institute joined forces with the Italian restaurant “La Cantina” in Valletta. Ten students from Italy will manage the restaurant by taking care of the premises and preparing special menus from 21 to 23 November. Lunch menus will be at a special price of 15 euros per person. Dinner menus will be at 20 euros per person.
Students will also be collaborating and offering their support for the realization of the event “I Vini dell’Etna, un’emozione da bere” organized by the Embassy of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute, in collaboration with AIS Club Malta.
The presentation on Thursday 23 November at the Italian Cultural Institute is free admission. To place a booking for the special dinner menu (at 20 euros per person) you are kindly requested to contact beforehand Il Ristorante “La Cantina” (37 South Street, Valletta, tel: 356 21227801).
