Launching of “Farm Cultural Park” in Favara (Agrigento)

With Florinda and Andrea Bartoli, founders and animators at Farm Cultural Park

Farm Cultural Park is a new generation cultural centre that pays particular attention to contemporary and innovative art. The park is situated in the historical core of Favara, in a district known as I sette cortili. Farm Cultural Park has acquired some of the residences inside of the sette cortili, transforming them in contemporary art exhibition spaces, meeting places, a kitchen with a view for workshops and lunches, a cocktail bar, a vintage shop and much more. In this manner, an area which was previously degraded and abandoned, changed into a tourist attraction and a meeting spot for innovation and arts. The aim is to make Favara become the second most popular tourist attraction of Agrigento, after Valle dei Templi. More information on this project may be viewed on http://www.farm-cultural.park.
