Dominic Mancuso Group is a Canadian group led by Juno Award (Canadian Grammy) winner Dominic Mancuso bringing together musicians representing a variety of cultural and artistic traditions (Italian, Cuban, Mexican, and North American). Their “One World/No Borders” Tour takes their vibrant and original sound along the reverse journey of today’s immigrants: from North to South, from Canada to Southern Europe, across Portugal, Spain, Italy and Malta. The tour is officially promoted by the European Network PERFORMIGRATIONS: People Are the Territory with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts, Ontario Art Council and the Richmond Hill Cultural Grant program. This tour intends to shape a territory, welcoming and sharing the plurality of world stories and traditions, proving that music is, in fact, the ideal art form to meet and embrace people.
The concert in Malta is organized by the Italian Cultural Institute and the University of Malta Junior College, in collaboration with Università di Bologna within the European program Europa Creativa.
