The Scientist is a collaborative exhibition where science and art merge together through the art works of the students of MCAST FINE ARTS HND2. The exhibition is taking place within The Science in the City Festival and aims to draw the attention on the discussion about scientific matters taken from the artist’s point of view.
Each student has been introduced to a scientist and from then on has been asked to produce a work of art which is inspired by the life and the research of the chosen scientist. The students successfully produced a series of visual art works, including sculptures, illustrations and photographs focusing on various themes, varying from the research on breast cancer to epilepsy, to speech impediments and much more.
The exhibition will be inaugurated on the 16th September and can be visited till the 26th September.
