Open Lecture by Prof. Francesco Marroni
Prompted by a series of personal experiences in creative writing, this lecture illustrates how Italian narrative of the XXth century has attempted to define new spaces for literary imagination without finding a coherent path for research as, on the other hand, is successful with English and America narrative, where the short story tradition boasts of illustrious examples since the XIXth century. This lecture by Prof. Marroni will be preceded by an interesting intervention on “Howards End di E. M. Forster: metafora e topologia dell’ordine”.
