Lecture by Prof. Arch. Massimo Mariani
This lecture merges the technical and scientific aspects of architecture and the restoration of materials with the cultural aspect as it focuses on the restoration of old and modern buildings. It is a unique opportunity given the importance of Prof. Mariani in the architectural field. He will illustrate the secrets and techniques of elevated constructions, examined and equipped with a substantial record of operations on monumental buildings of historical and artistic value, designed and managed by the architect himself. The event is organized by BICC (Building Industry Consultative Council) and KTP (Chamber of Architects and Civil Engineers) with the support of the Consiglio Nazionale degli Ingegneri.
Massimo Mariani, is an Architect and Civil Engineer, Professor of
Geotechnics and Applied Geology to Engineering Works at the Faculty of
Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences, University of Perugia and
Professor of Structural Problems of Historical and Monumental Buildings,
Master Programme, Faculty of Engineering at the University of Perugia.
Mariani is member of the Executive Board of the Consiglio Nazionale degli
Ingegneri, in charge of the sector Culture.
