Second edition of the International Culture Festival
On the 24th of July 2016, at Ta’ Xbiex Marina, will be held the second edition of the Festival “Connecting Through Culture”. The event is organised by Ta’ Xbiex Local Council in collaboration with the resident embassies.
The initiative, originated in 2015 during a meeting at the Residence of the Italian Ambassador, aims to show the beauty of diversity through food sampling and different shows offered by the embassies located in Ta’ Xbiex. The Italian presence, made possible by the Italian Embassy in Malta and by the Italian Cultural Institute, will run food stands of Italian specialities. Cultural activities will be offered. Delegates from Rocca Santo Stefano, a city near Rome twinned with Ta’ Xbiex, will be attending the event.
