Concerto-spettacolo “D’Amore & di Note parte II, Recitar cantando… oggi”

Within the Italian Language Week in the World

With the participation of Amina Contin, Nino Marini  e Eugene Bajada. Designs by Alice Camuto and costumes by Pat Holtom .

A performance during which some of the great classics of the Italian music will be re-enacted in a theatrical manner. Music which will vary from canzone d’autore, to musica napoletana and ballate popolari….with some surprises!

The main theme of the songs is Love in all its aspects. The songs will be re-lived theatrically and transformed into stories to be narrated, as it used to be with the tradition of the cantastorie (storytelling) who illustrated the climax of the stories.

Fabrizio De Andrè, Domenico Modugno, Mina e Alberto Lupo with “Parole, parole”, Enzo Jannacci, Enrico Caruso, are some of the classics which will accompany us on this  poetic, at times ironic, but fun and captivating journey.
