L’attività scientifica di Maria Pia Rossignani tra Italia, Malta e il Mediterraneo

On the occasion of he XIII Week of Italian Language in the World

This event is dedicated to the memory of Maria Pia Rossignani, Professor of Classical Archaeology at the Universita’ del Sacro Cuore of Milano and Director of the Italian Mission of Archaeology in Malta since 2001, who has recently passed away. 

 


Interventions by colleagues and friends, both Italian and Maltese, will outline the scientific and human profile of a scholar who, through her research methods and ethical tension, has left a profound imprint on the recent panorama of Italian Archaeology.


 


Interventions will be held by the new Director of the Italian Mission of Archaeology Grazia Semeraro (University of Salento), Francesco D’Andria (University of Salento), Silvia Lusuardi Siena (Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milano), Anthony Pace and Nathaniel Cutajar, Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent of Cultural Heritage Malta respectively.
