Extraordinary participation of Sicilian authors and publishers!
The National Book Festival is the most important event promoting publishers in the Maltese calendar of activities. Publishers, distributors and booksellers meet in a historical building, the Mediterranean Conference Centre, to showcase and promote the selling of their latest books. This year the National Book Council encouraged the presence of foreign publishers and authors and highlighted the importance of the Italian participation. This year’s participation by the Italian Cultural Institute will entail the organization of a large stand hosting around ten publishing houses that form part of the Sicilian publishing landscape with their works and with several presentations of books by the authors themselves. It is definitely an opportunity to listen and meet the authors and to buy Italian books in Malta. This is an opportunity not to be missed!
