A father and his son who lived separated for some time meet each other one day and try to talk their problems over and understand their diametrical differences.
The film presents and reveals, in a direct manner, the many truths of the fragility of the relationship between a father and his son.
Both protagonists received the Coppa Volpi award in 1989.
