Within this edition of the Malta International Music Festival, Italy will be represented by this brilliant, versatile Duo. The two artists, who have won various national and international competitions, held many solo concerts and played together with chamber music groups in Italy, Europe and Asia.
The Duo rose to international fame with a CD dedicated to Johannes Brahms. Their search for new musical offers and innovative repertoires has encouraged compositors like A. Inglesi, L. Giachino, F. Festa and S. Centurione to compose music for the Duo. From 2008, the Duo has collaborated with the clarinetist Tedesco Karl Leister. The Duo, together with Leister, published a CD for the Camerata Tokyo.
