“Dove l’italiano si suona”

La musica italiana come mezzo divulgativo di cultura, identità e lingua

Within the Week of the Italian Language in the World

We invite you all to an evening of Italian music performed by local Gozitan talent and directed by the Italian Department at the scholastic institute Sir M. A. Refalo Sixth Form.  It will be an evening dedicated to the relationship between Italian music and the Italian language.  Teachers and (ex-)students will be performing together to offer a musical selection that ranges from Medieval to more recent contemporary music, highlighting the manner in which Italy has always been pivotal in the musical panorama, influencing both its language and direction.  We look forward to welcoming you to share an enjoyable musical evening in the evocative baroque atmosphere of Victoria’s St George Basilica.  Entrance is free.
