“Da Vivaldi a Mozart”. Concerto di Arianna Art Ensemble

Musiche di Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

With the concert “Da Vivaldi a Mozart” the Arianna Art Ensemble will give the opportunity to the public to travel through baroque and classical Europe and have a chance to appreciate its stylistic differences and the interesting influences between diverse national expressions, with a special attention to the Italian one. The Ensemble, founded in 2007 by the lutenist and composer Paolo Rigano and by the harpsichordist Cinzia Guarino, promote the ‘600 and ‘700 vocal and instrumental repertoire through exhibitions with old instruments and the choice to respect the correct historical approach.

Its members have collaborated with some other notorious Ensembles including Il Giardino Armonico, L’Orchestra Barocca, Les Elementes, L’Ensemble di Strumenti antichi del Conservatorio di Palermo, and have several recordings thereby gaining positive approval by critics.

The Ensemble, which has won several international prizes, performed in various festivals in Europe and collaborated with important artists such as Giovanni Sollima, Dimitry Sinkovsky, Gemma Bertagnolli among others. They are now involved in the production of the 10th edition of the Festival Internazionale di Musica Antica di Grattieri.

Morover, Arianna Art Ensemble promote the 5th edition of Stagione Concertistica in Palermo, which gathers important national and international musicians.

Together with Giovanni Sollina, they have recently recorded Le Sonate by Giovanni Battista Costanzi published by Glossa Recording Label.
