Have you got a sweet tooth? Well, this month we have the right topic for you: Tiramisù e altre golosità tutte italiane. We welcome our guest, Claudio Borrelli, from The Overflow, a popular restaurant in Qawra. Cooking has been Claudio’s main interest for the last fourteen years. He’s been abroad for some time to learn new techniques and share cooking experiences but decided to settle down in Malta in 2013. He really has a passion for cooking, and he always cooks in a very creative way, but his first love is creating desserts. Being Italian, it is no great surprise, as Italian desserts are very well known all over the world. Don’t forget that Italians start their day in a sweet way, as the traditional Italian breakfast includes cappuccino and cornetto, a delicious light cake which goes very well with a hot drink. Claudio will talk about several cakes, some of them connected with festivals, such as Panettone, the Italian Christmas cake, and will end up with his signature dish, Tiramisù.
