20 International Award for Italian Studies - Italian Culture in the World -
As part of the 48th edition of the Flaiano International Awards, Literature section, the 20th International Award for Italian Studies - Italian culture in the world is announced for 2021. Promoted and organized by the Edoardo Tiboni Foundation, by the Ennio Flaiano Cultural Association in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and with the Italian Cultural Institutes Abroad. The Prize will be awarded to three authors, whose works have as their subject matter of Italian culture, which have been published abroad in Italian or foreign.
The Jury is made up of experts of international culture. The publications indicated by the Directors of the Italian Cultural Institutes abroad will be taken into consideration.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
The Directors may propose, also following the recommendation of the colleagues of the Departments of Italian Studies of the local universities, up to a maximum of three works published from 1 May 2020 to 31 March 2021 of the reference country.
The works, in duplicate, also in PDF format, must be received no later than April 15, 2021, at the Award Secretariat, Piazza Emilio Alessandrini, 34 - 65127 Pescara; the postmark will be valid.

The Jury reserves the right to take into consideration any other publications indicated by the members.
DELIVERY OF AWARDS
The awarding of the prizes will take place on Saturday 3 July 2021, at 20.30, in Pescara.
The prize cannot be collected by third parties. The eventual absence of the winner at the award ceremony will result in the forfeiture of the prize.
