“Il caffè e… i caffè storici d’Italia”

“Il caffè e… i caffè storici d’Italia”

The Magic Box

It’s the first Tuesday of the month, this time, it’s 6.30 pm, and it is The Magic Box at the Italian Cultural Institute, as on 10th February we’ll all be celebrating St Paul’s shipwreck in Malta! Continuing the programme, Dott. Porcheddu is delighted to present the topic of February, Il caffè e … i caffè storici d’Italia.

This month we give a warm welcome to Lorenzo Forforelli, from Vittoria, Ragusa, in Sicily. Lorenzo has always been interested in coffee, so he will be talking about the origins of coffee and how it has become so popular in Italy, especially Italian espresso, and very well-known all over the world, by now. Any questions you would like to ask about making a really good coffee? Well, this is the evening for you. We will also learn about historical cafes in Italy, where we can find them and what makes them so unique.

After the presentation we’ll certainly have a chat over a … good cup of Italian espresso and a little something. Everyone is welcome and entrance is free.
