We receive dozens of cultural proposals every week and, unfortunately, we are not able to get back to everyone*: every Italian Cultural Institute is part of the Italian public administration <\/strong>and must therefore follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation<\/strong><\/span>. Even the projects that do not entail any cost must align with such guidelines.<\/p>\n The relevant legislation\u00a0is the Italian Law n.401\/1990<\/a>\u00a0and the Ministerial Decree n.393\/1995<\/a>. As to signed contracts, the Italian Cultural Institutes abide by the 192\/2017 Regulation about contracts signed abroad.\u00a0\u00a0The Director of the Institute sets the cultural schedule and makes choices based on the aforementioned laws.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n *<\/strong> <\/span>If you are part of a NATIONAL FESTIVAL <\/strong>or any OTHER RECURRENT EVENT<\/strong> in Malta, kindly refer to these GUIDELINES<\/strong><\/a> that we drew up to explain how to properly request our support.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n BEFORE YOU HIT SEND<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Before submitting a cultural proposal, please check our website and our social media to make sure your project is in line with our public mission<\/strong>. The Institute generally favors projects with original cultural content that have never been brought to Malta and that promote inclusivity\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>and diversity<\/strong><\/span>: we\u2019re always glad to receive projects that give a fair representation of gender, sex, ethnicity, age and cultural background differences.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
